The Park is the first archaeological park in the AZ State Parks System.
The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, they gave my children a Jr. Ranger program, badge and posters, They were able to answer all of our questions and helped us plan our trip through Arizona and see some things we hadn't heard of and made our trip the best. We stayed in the campground in the park and it was great. The sites are spaced apart and gave us much needed privacy and they are all level, the electric hookup was 30 amp and the voltage never dipped, the showers were included in the camp fee of .00 and were spotless and the bathrooms at the musuem were unique having neon lights. I would recommend this park and campground to anyone traveling on I-40. My family has fallen in love with N. Az and we moved to Winlsow . |
