| Quechee Recreation Area lies within a gorgeous area of eastern Vermont. The park is named for a steep chasm of bedrock carved by the Ottauquechee River. The beautiful gorge drops 165 feet. Quechee State Park offers camping with hot showers, a picnic area, hiking trails and fishing in the nearby Ottauquechee River which supports brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout. Cross-country skiing permitted in winter by walking around entrance gate; all facilities closed including restrooms. |
